AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Alain Pichard’s areas of expertise are:
- family law (separations, divorces, legal separation of registered partnerships, paternity, adoption and other issues related to children, etc.), including international aspects;
- inheritance law;
- tenency law;
- employment law;
- criminal law.
Mr. Pichard is also active in several areas of administrative law (such as immigration law and social insurance law).
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
Mr. Pichard has studied at various renowned European law schools, such as Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (2009-2010) and Carlos III University in Madrid (2011-2012). In 2012, he obtained a Master’s degree in Swiss Law from the University of Lausanne with the summa cum laude distinction of excellence. Mr. Pichard then completed his legal internship and obtained his Bar Admission in January 2015. Since his admission to the Bar of the Canton of Vaud, Mr. Pichard has been practicing as a partner at Wettstein Martin, Chiffelle, Pichard and Kramer. He thus succeeded Mr. Eduardo Redondo, a former partner of the firm who became a magistrate.

Mr. Alain Pichard is a native French speaker. He also advises his clients in English, Italian and Spanish and has a good command of German.
